"Jesus loves you right where you are, but He loves you too much to leave you there."

What does it mean to "follow" Jesus?

After His resurrection from the dead, Jesus gave His followers this command: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28.19-20) In other words, following Jesus (being a disciple) means being baptized, obeying the teachings of Jesus (such as loving God and loving others), and making more followers of King Jesus.

At Arise, everything we do is intended to help you be a follower of Jesus who makes followers of Jesus who make followers of Jesus. Whether you’re new to faith or a long-time believer, our job is to “to equip [you] for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4.12-13)

To help you mature and grow in your faith, we offer a variety of tools, including our Small Groups, AriseU Online content, AriseU Workshops, Theology on Tap, podcasts, and much more. Through these resources, you’ll be equipped and encouraged to grow more and more into the person that God has made you to be.
