We believe biblical and historical mere Christianity as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed:
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
*By catholic, we mean not the Roman Catholic Church, but the Church universal throughout time and space.
What's our purpose? To be followers of Christ who make followers of Christ who make followers of Christ… (Matthew 28.19-20)
What's our dream? To be a community of conversation and growth for those on the fringes of faith.
What do we think is important?
Authentic Community: Honest and transparent commitment to life together where we take God seriously, but not ourselves.
Radical Hospitality: Extending the love of God through sacrificial service to each other, to our community, and to our world.
Innovative Orthodoxy: Confessing the truths of biblical and historic Christian faith in fresh and energizing ways.
Spiritual Transformation: Ongoing growth through the power of God and practices of the Church.
Engaging Conversation: A willingness to creatively dialogue with and learn from one another, across mediums and divides.
How do we follow Jesus and become more like Him?
Through four steps: Connect, Gather, Grow, and Serve. In these ways, we follow the model of the Church throughout history as we commit ourselves to Teaching, Worship, Evangelism, Community, Service, and Prayer (Acts 2.42-47)
