A Different Kind of Church
Arise is a vibrant, casual, and creative church in Fenton, Missouri full of imperfect people trying to follow Jesus together. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take Jesus very seriously.
We follow the historic teachings of the Christian Church, but in bold new ways. We know we don't have all the answers. But we're journeying together as we try to love God and love people in this crazy world.
What This Means for You
Arise is a place where you can come as you are. Bring your questions and your doubts. Work through them with us. We strive to find deep and relevant meaning in God’s Word. It’s a place for those seeking God no matter what's going on in your life.
What We Do
At Arise, we focus on four things:
Connecting: We're not meant to go through life alone. So we focus on connecting--as a church, as families, as individuals, on Sundays, and throughout the week.
Gathering: We gather together, on Sunday mornings to worship and learn together, and throughout the week to encourage one another and share life.
Growing: As we journey together through this crazy world, we're committed to learning and growing, spiritually, relationally, and practically.
Serving: Following Jesus isn't just about what we get out of it. It's also about how we're part of the Church throughout space and time. So we serve, in the community and in our church, as a way to show of love to God and others.
Our Origins
Arise is a church plant, which means we were launched by another, existing church. Our mother church is Rooftop Church in Affton, MO. Not everyone who attends Arise comes from Rooftop, but some of us do. And we're thankful for Rooftop's legacy of "being disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ...." through generosity, service, and love for one another.
