Special Needs Ministry

The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." ~Jesus (in Matthew 25.40)

God has room for everyone in His family, and so do we! We're excited to partner with families who have special needs kiddos both on Sunday mornings as well as throughout the week. The Arise Special Needs Ministry fosters a soothing environment, giving those with special needs a unique opportunity to worship and receive God's Word, as well as afford their families the pleasure of enjoying a worship service.

Sunday Mornings

Stop by the Welcome Desk in the Arise Lobby on Sunday mornings to pickup a busy bag and stretch bands. (Coming soon: a new sensory wall by the Arise Kids' classrooms!)

Midweek Meetings

Join us on the second and fourth Monday of each month to encourage one another, share the ups and downs of life, and support one another. We usually meet at Arise or a local coffee shop.

Cleaning your house? Looking to donate some items that your kids have outgrown? Consider donating some of the items below to help out a special needs family!

1.    Under armor compressions (tops and bottoms)

2.    Bean bags

3.    Ball pit balls

4.    Hammock swings

5.    Canceling noise headphones

6.    Old tablets or phones (wifi compatible only)

7.    Weighted blankets

8.    Fidget toys of any kind

9.    Of course, your time.
